We know that a restorative justice journey may require multiple supports and services.  While we can provide expertise and support related to restorative justice, we do not provide services such as counselling or legal advice.  We often work with or connect program participants to many of the supports and services below.

Alberta Government Help for Victims of Crime

If you have been a victim of a violent crime, help is available at every step of your recovery. This includes immediate help, victim services units that can guide you through the justice system, and government programs that offer financial assistance, counselling and support.

Provides victims with the rights to information, protection, participation, and restitution.

Crossroads Resource Centre & Women's Shelter

Crossroads supports women and families affected by family violence through shelter services and programming, referrals, long-term support and education in a safe and non-violent atmosphere in Fairview, Alberta.

Fairview & District Victim Services

A police-based victim outreach group operating out of the Fairview RCMP Detachment that helps people affected by crime and tragedy with expert information, caring support, appropriate service agency referral, crisis intervention, and navigation through the criminal justice system.

Office of the Federal Ombudsman for Victims of Crime

Victims can contact the Office to learn more about their rights under federal law and the services available to them or to make a complaint about any federal agency or federal legislation dealing with victims of crime.

PACE Sexual Assult Centre

Grande Prairie Sexual Assault and Trauma Centre serving the Peace River, High Level, High Prairie, and Valleyview areas.

Peace Regional Victim Services

A police-based, nonprofit organization working with the RCMP and serving residents within the RCMP catchment areas of Peace River, Grimshaw, McLennan, Red Earth Creek and the satellite detachments of Duncan's First Nation and Woodland Cree First Nation.

Peace River Regional Womens Shelter

Providing a short-term, safe, and supportive environment for abused women and their children, women in crisis, or other women needing emergency accommodation.  It also provides follow-up and outreach for all women on a one-on-one basis.
